Supervised engineering projects
During their training, students work in groups over the course of several weeks or even months on real projects submitted by companies, working independently (with teacher supervision) to develop solutions.
Students participating in IMPACT (a national confederation of junior enterprise initiatives) work in their free time on research and design projects for businesses. Each project is governed by a contract, and students are remunerated.

Partnerships with business can take many forms, ranging from research contracts to shared labs, CIFRE (Conventions Industrielles de Formation par la Recherche) theses and industrial research chairs.
